Personality

Marco is laid-back, and very easy to get along with. He’s friendly towards everyone, and doesn’t seem to have much energy. He gets along very well with Kit, and sees her as his daughter. Even though he isn’t a good person, he can give some of the best advice.

Biography

Marco was born in Central Adamanta, and lived with his single mother. He went through sexual abuse from his mother, but never resisted, because he just wanted to see his mother happy. Aside from what was going on at home, Marco had good grades, was very popular in high school through college. After graduating, he became a middle school health teacher, and moved out of his mother’s home.

During his job as a teacher, his interactions with his colleagues were professional and casual, but with the students, he got a little too friendly with them. Marco was eventually caught inappropriately interacting with a student outside of school grounds, and was sent to prison for 7 years. After being released, he moved back in with his mother, but was kicked out months later because she “didn’t want to live with a registered sex offender”. The two of them got into a heated argument. Marco told his mother that she was to blame for his behavior, since she was the one grooming him as a kid. Marco fled the region, and chose to reside in Northeastern Aracia. He had a shitty apartment and a low paying job at a gas station. Marco wanted to change as a person, but he struggled. He became depressed and suicidal, and developed a habit of smoking and drinking.

Joining Interitus

During one of his bad nights of being completely sloshed at the bar, Marco met Sandria. He would constantly hit on her, and she showed no interest. Sandria knew that he was an unhappy person deep down, and due to this, she saw him as a potential target for experimentation.

She offered to walk him home due to him being extremely intoxicated. Marco bothered Sandria with his sob story on how much of a shitty person he was and what he did back in Adamanta, but Sandria’s views on him changed. She wanted a terrible person on her team, so she offered him to join her. Marco declined at first, but after she offered to pay his rent, he saw it as a deal.

Marco had a medical role in Interitus. He would occasionally help Sandria with her experiments as well, but he soon got banned from doing that due to getting touchy with the revenants. He had spent a few months being with Sandria, and got along with the ones she calls her “children” (excluding Nil, but her dislike towards him was one-sided).

Aftermath

After the death of Sandria, Marco was sentenced to life in prison. Kit would visit him sometimes, and the two of them would exchange letters as well. Marco was eventually stabbed to death by his cellmate.
