Personality

A reserved girl that doesn’t like to speak to others unless spoken to first. She calls herself a “curse”, and tries her best to stay away from others because she feels like a burden. After regaining her past memories, Kit became a bit more hostile and foul-mouthed, and would suffer from constant migraines (she went back to her usual self after recovering). Although Kit isn’t much of a talker, she tries her best to be a good listener.

Biography

The first thing Kit remembers was the day she was "born". She had woken up laying naked on a lab table, while bright lights blinded her vision. She had no idea what was going on or where she was, why she lived in a huge secluded mansion with a strange woman who claimed to be her "mother", or why her mother had to constantly perform experiments on her. All she knew was that she had apparently been asleep for three whole years. But in the end, Kit never complained. She loved the affection that Sandria and her strange assistant, Marco, showered her with. Kit also adored her siblings more than anything, even though she didn't get along very well with Dove.

Kit didn't have the freedom that her siblings had. Sandria prohibited Kit from leaving the house unless needed, and that she had to wear a mask at all times to hide her identity. When Kit asked why, she was always answered with "because there are bad people who would do bad things to someone as cute as you" and nothing more. Although Sandria was strict, Kit wasn't kept under much surveillance. So her favorite pastime was to sneak out and explore the forests and abandoned areas near the north Aracian border. She always made sure to wear her mask in case she ran into other people, but even so, she would always try to avoid them.

One evening, while hiking near old ruins, Kit came across a young man sitting on the ground and muttering to himself while writing in a small notebook. The man noticed Kit hiding behind a tree in his peripheral vision, and waved her over with a kind smile. He noticed Kit was a bit hesitant, but tried to comfort her by introducing himself as Kyda, and reassured her that he was no harm. Kyda's words calmed Kit down, and she was able to approach him. She introduced herself as "Kiki", but never answered any of Kyda's personal questions. Kit had learned that Kyda lived in Siren, but was born in Aracia, and that he's currently visiting for a work trip, which also gives him time to visit family

. The two of them really enjoyed each other's company, and agreed to meet at the same time & place every day. After her encounter with Kyda, Kit had been in high spirits since she had never been friends with someone other than her siblings before. Sandria started to notice her daughter's sudden change in behavior, but when asked about it, Kit would brush her off. Sandria wanted to trust the fact that Kit wasn't hiding anything from her, but she couldn't help but feel a bit suspicious. Therefore, she had ordered Dove to keep an eye out on Kit, and to make sure that her presence would be unknown.

Two weeks after Kit had first met Kyda, she learned that he was a Terminus intern for the medical subdivision. Kit knew that Terminus was a threat to her family, but showed no signs of hostility, and continued to question Kyda all about Terminus in order to get information to pass onto her mother. Kit predicted that Sandria would punish her for befriending an outsider, but she hoped that having critical information on the enemy would at least make the punishment less harsh.

Dove ratted Kit out to their mother, but when Sandria confronted Kit about it, she wasn't mad at all. She let Kit continue to meet up with Kyda, and even hid a recording device on her so the Interitus members could gather more intel. When enough information was acquired, Sandria made a plan to storm the Aracian Terminus HQ. Unfortunately, Dove insisted that Kit deserved to be punished. Therefore, Kit had to stay home while everyone else went on this mission.

Memory

Kit's memories of her past life only came to her in nightmares when she went to bed, without knowing that they had actually happened to her before. She would always run to Sandria or Marco for comfort whenever she felt shaken.

After the Aracian Terminus HQ raid, Kit decided to snoop around in her mother's lab, and found some files. They were pretty useful, but she noticed a scattered pile on the ground, which she had assumed were unimportant. Kit was a bit curious though. She flipped through what seemed to be documents on interns, and came across one that stood out to her the most.

Janice Kao, A girl who’s the same age as Kit. This girl seemed so familiar, but she had no idea where she'd seen that face before. Kit started to put the pieces together while reading through the document, realizing her recurring nightmares weren’t just nonsensical bad dreams, but they were real memories from her past. This caused Kit to panic. She felt nauseous, her mind was racing, and she could barely breathe. Remembering that her old family and Janice were still out there, enjoying their lives, made Kit feel livid. She knew getting rest would be impossible unless she got revenge.

It took a few days, but Kit managed to track down Janice’s whereabouts. During their encounter, Janice frantically pleaded for mercy, and apologized for treating her badly in the past, but that only angered Kit more. She made sure to give Janice a long and agonizing death, tearing her limbs one by one, and ripping out her guts. The sight of her old classmate’s lifeless, mangled body made Kit feel horrified. She never knew she was capable of doing such a thing.

On the same night, when Kit arrived at her old family home, she started to doubt herself, and felt like she should just leave them behind and forget about everything. But the more she thought about the unfair treatment she endured during her life as Katie, the irritation started to creep up on her once again before deciding to force her way through, and end things once and for all.

The Lalin family was obviously startled by the forced entry, but after seeing who the culprit was, they all froze and stared with disbelief. After a moment of awkward silence, Kit's mother questioned if she had come back from the dead to haunt them. Although it was correct, Kit only answered her mother by swiftly snapping her neck, killing her instantly. Nina was able to escape, and ran to the family car. Before Kit was able to stop her sister, her father held her back, and managed to land a few blows by stabbing her multiple times. But due to being a revenant, this was nothing for Kit. Normal weapons had no effect on her, and she was able to fight back with no problem. With all the anger she had left in her body, her father met the same fate that Janice had. Kit made sure to let him know that no matter what lifetime they’re in, she’ll make sure to kill him over and over again.

After dealing with her father, Kit was able to catch up to Nina. Her sister had crashed the car into a tree a few blocks away from the house, which ended up killing her. Kit felt terrible after coming back to her senses. When she got back home, she took a long shower, and spent the night with Sandria, making sure not to forget about telling her everything that happened.

After a while, Kit's feelings towards Sandria started to become complicated. She was unhappy that the one she loved and trusted so much never told her the truth about her identity. After this, she lost faith in the woman she once called “mother”, and decided to betray her in the end by joining Terminus.

Aftermath

After the death of Sandria, Kit's health started to slowly wane (due to the life force of revenants being connected to Sandria). She saw it as a punishment for being the villain, but that didn’t really bother her. Kyda was able to have custody of Kit, and made sure she lived the life she never got to experience growing up. She was able to make good friends, and join the school soccer team. Unfortunately, Kit's declining health caught up to her by the age of 21. She died in her bedroom, surrounded by her loved ones.

MENTAL	Kit suffers from many different personality disorders.
INSTINCT	She has a habit of walking on all fours sometimes due to animal instincts, and also because she forgets she can walk bipedally.
STATUS	Before Sandria's death, Kit was unable to attend school and had to go out in public with a mask all the time, so she didn't risk being recognized as Katie.
BODY	After dying as Katie, Kit had been unable to grow, and her body is less warm than average. Her ears are also very sensitive.
PIERCINGS	Her older sibling Nil gave her the piercings she currently has.
